BEIRUT, March 16, 2012: The Renault Foundation and Saint-Joseph University have launched the Chair and the Master in Management of Road Safety during a ceremony held at the Francois S. Bassil Auditorium at the USJ Innovation and Sport Campus, under the patronage of his Excellency Mr. Najib Mikati, President of the Counicl of Ministers of Lebanon.

The ceremony took place in the presence of the Pr. René Chamussy, Rector of Saint-Joseph University, Mr. Carlos Ghosn, CEO of Renault-Nissan Alliance and President of the Renault Foundation, M. Mohamed Ben Sulayem, Vice-Chairman of the International Automobile Federation (FIA), Pr. Ramzi Salamé, Holder of the Chair and Director of the Master, members of Lebanese Parliament, ambassadors, university presidents, deans, USJ directors, a large number of teachers and students, institutional partners including Ms. Susan Pikrallidas, General Secretary of FIA and Mr. Assaad Mirza, President of the Association of Insurance Companies in Lebanon, and representatives of the civil society.
